Re: 25 YEARS OF THE RC10 (updated 10/4/10)
A white and black transition CE! As Associated ran out of original white parts, they would switch with the new updated black parts as they came in!
All the CE's had a wiper type speed control.
I would like some full pictures of your black and white CE. I would like to see the bulkhead ears as well as the turnbuckles and shocks!
Thanks
Rod

Right I'll see if I can get some better photos of the bulkhead
From '94ish

I rebuild it with white parts from my Team Car
and the Team Car was converted in to a DS
From the spares I build my RC10T/T2/TRX hybrid

bought it in Sweden

No old pictures of the original car with the body off?
You dyed the white parts orange or is the picture just bad?

Re: 25 YEARS OF THE RC10 (updated 10/4/10)
I've got a quick question regarding the bodyshells that came with each car... I see that SnoopMaxx's CE has the Viper shell.... but the box shows the ProtechII.... I thought that it was only the Team Cars that came with the Viper, but then the box for the Team Graphite car shows the ProtechII also?SnoopMaxx wrote:slotcarrod wrote:No old pictures of the original car with the body off?
You dyed the white parts orange or is the picture just bad?yeah I did and that's the only pic I have with the original wheels and body
Did the Viper shell basically take over from the 2nd Gen Protech for all models apart from the Worlds?

Re: 25 YEARS OF THE RC10 (updated 10/4/10)
I was a little disappointed when I first bought my CE
"wrong" body and black Bulkhead + a-arms
That viper body allowed a lot of dirt to enter the tub
So I used the Pro-Line body in stead

With Schumacher RC10 wheels

Re: 25 YEARS OF THE RC10 (updated 10/4/10)
Great information SnoopMaxx! I updated the late CE info based on this! I would love better pictures of this version, not that it would not be hard to make one, but I would like pictures of a NEW built from box!
I noticed it has black shock towers. Were they the Worlds towers and if so are they what came in the box?

Re: 25 YEARS OF THE RC10 (updated 10/4/10)
The tower's were blacked out with an ink marker
They were identical to all the previous towers

I still owe you a better photo of the black rear bulkhead
And that's a Fibre-Lite tower on the right

Re: 25 YEARS OF THE RC10 (updated 10/4/10)
I updated the Graphite RC10 with some nice chassis pictures showing the different weave patterns and AE logo. Pictures courtesy of scr8p and comment from Ruffy. I hope Ruffy will not mind as I did not ask?
Why is "scr8p" not red on my spell check? Why is he special?
