my new 4wd runner

Post by treehugger »

well after i retired my com com cf lazer i haven't run any 4wd on the dirt and even though i have 5 lazers they just see shelf duty 8)
so i had to snap this one up for my official runner i have some nice period turnbuckles and will be putting some bigger shoes on it.
And now im running a 2.4 radio no more glitch's with motor interference and carbon which i couldn't get rid of before .

If your going to run this I would suggest upgrading the shock towers to carbon fibre as the alloy ones bend and take the gearbox at the front and shock tower mount at the rear with them and they are harder to replace than the rest of the car. Other than that Layshaft gears and diff gears can be made by a friend of mine and belts are available from a compnay in Germany as well as the Lazer ZXS and Parma Tomcat shells are being made in the UK and of a better quality than the original. ZX5 wheels and UJs (I am unsure of the pat number of the 8 that have been made) are available and the list goes on. Great car and still the best car i have ever run.
