4WD Frog!!

Post by losiXXXman »

The ingenuity that hails form Japan is just amazing. Many of us have seen quite a few examples, but thought I'd share this one that I just saw. REALLY cool. 8)

i can do highres scans of that if anyone is interested (if I still have that issue actually)

there is also a rotary powered 787B that someone built as well, using the rotary OS engine...i love the super-custom builds some people do

I find that just incredibly amazing. :D I would of loved to have witnessed the creation of it from start to finished. If you notice the battery holder even looks like the Frog logo. It just goes to show that anything is possible if you have the skill, time, and tools.

That looks like twice the crummy hex dogbones to keep up! I do give it high style points however.

I seriously doubt it would still be using those, and from the looks of it no it does not.

I am sure it doesn't use the old hex with all the tech to build the conversion. It just brings up old painful memories, as at the time I couldnt afford a Thorp dogbone conversion.

Too cool!

The frog was my first introduction into the RC car world (back in ’84). My next door neighbor let me drive his brand new frog and that’s all it took, I was hooked.

If you have to ask, you wouldn't understand. You as a car guy should know that.
