Thank you for the compliments. These builds are a lot of fun for me and it's great to have a forum to share them in. The buggies that others have built on this site have been a great inspiration and resource so I hope some of my buggies serve as the same.
Daryl, really appreciate the kind words. Means a lot coming from the guy that owned the company.

Well if you ever decide to change the tires there are reproductions now that use regular rubber: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350441866752railey72 wrote:The blackfoot tires are pictured in most of the monster conversion ads from the day but I don't like how plastic they are.
That looks fantastic by the way!

Every day or so I find out we have some high profile RC people on this board... Now Mr. Lane... wow. This is the best forum everDaryl Lane wrote:Looking really nice - great job. Would love some pics for the new web site I am working on if I could get some. We released the first trailing arm kit for RC10, it was this tube conversion, back in mid 1988 and we released the lethal weapon about 5 months before the Stealth tranny came out.
Again great job on the build Doug!
