My attempt at a 79' Ranger

Post by metallicats33 »

When I saw the Jconcepts Ranger Hit the Market I ran out and grabbed one. It sat in my garage for a bit until I got the nerve to try and paint the darn thing
Now I'm terrible at painting and I don't have access to an airbrush, so this Rattle can job is my attempt at a vintage looking Ford Ranger... At least I like Decals a lot

Simple but effective. I like that a lot more than the current trend of flaming dripping tribals and colors that hurt the eyes. 8)

Looks great to me. I'm a rattle can junkie myself. Nothing wrong with decals, just look at Masami's rides.

How about a Dodge Power Wagon or Li'l Red Express? We've seen enough Chebbies and Furds. I haven't even seen a late-model Dakota.

A Walker Evans Dodge would be a perfect match!...How about a retro series of old iron with all the old favorites like: Ivan Stewart, Roger Mears, Parnelli Jones, etc....I'm in!
