Shadow score!

Sweet! After a year of searching, I finally found myself a Shadow! Found it on ebay last night thanks to my watch list. It looks like I was only the 6th person to see the add before I hit the BIN button. Hopefully I'll have it by next week.
This was the 2nd RC car I had as a kid. (I was maybe 11 or 12 years old) I'm not even sure if I ever got it fully assembled/running back then, so I'm extra stoked that it's a complete car. For that reason, I plan on turning a few laps with it at the track one day. (carpet offroad... no dirt to messy it up )

Funky...that looks more like a Tamiya than a Kyosho!

Right? I am 99.9999% certain that this car was their answer to Tamiya's Big Wig. I was even released around the same time as the BW. It's very similarly designed, right down to the one piece body/wing. (I hate to admit it, but I personally think the BW's body is better looking than the Shadow)

Nice score! It appears to be in great condition (a little better than the one I won) and you got it for cheap as well.
The red body is an odd choice but then again mines painted a highlighter yellow color.

I like the Shadow's body as it fits the uniqueness of the model. Plus compared to the Aero Streak (a rebodied Shadow)
its looks awesome.
