Yeah, good question. I found out it was there when I popped the motor out for cleaning. One more silly question. Are the knockoffs part of the tecnacraft wheels or another aftermarket product? They're very cool and I've never seen them before that I can recall.

I picked up a set of chrome (plated plastic) knock-offs that were said to be 4mm but didn't fit 4mm axle threads in the least, they were too loose and just spun around on the threads...I think the seller was wrong in his description, they were probably meant for Associated which are standard, not metric--hence the slight difference in fitment. I assume your knockoffs fit and thread on properly? I'd be interested to know as well what knockoffs would work with metric-threaded axles.RedScampi wrote:Yeah, good question. These knockoffs are aluminum or some other non-ferrous metal if that helps id them.
