figuring out a direction for this build has become a little difficult. so, i thought...... let's have a little fun and go
inter-active.
my initial thought were to use the worlds front end (obviously) with a standard team car setup in the back. then i thought about going the "old is new" route, but decided i have enough of them already. i like reggie's blue tub build, his interpretation of a car built/driven by a privateer for the worlds. so, i'm thinking of doing something along the lines of a local stock class racer that loves aftermarket hop-ups. so i'll need to stay "early 90's" with the parts that are chosen.
the biggest dilema..... to cut, or not to cut. that is the question.
thanks to a couple awesome guys on the site, i have the white rpm parts in hand (or sourced) to build the rear of this car either as a team car, or as a worlds car. being as though i have no problem cutting stuff up, what would
you do?
on to tires. in stock, i have a new set of losi rubber. HT fronts and x-pattern rears.
or, i have a new set of prolines. 7025 fronts and 7060 rears.
these would be used with a new set of white tq rims.
but, i also have a new pair of pink 2.2 30 series yoke rims i could use on the rear. the adapters i have for them don't give the correct offset though. the ones i need are on my masami replica so i'd have to get a pair of those, as well as figure out tire to use since i don't have any more new 2.15/2.2 tires. so what would
you do?
electronics - i was planning on using a tekin esc and receiver, but i'll be going the novak route now. the other night, i scored a nib novak 410-m1 on ebay.

keeping an eye out for ner-3fm receiver to go along with it. i'm sure i have a servo that'll work. i also have 7 new 1400 scr cells (loose) to build a pack. but i also have a couple matched 1400 packs left from my racing days (point blank, lightspeed, esp). not exactly sure about a motor, but i do have a nip b&r yoke base 27t in my stash.
so that's it for now. now it's your turn to say what
you would do.
