Recommendations for night lighting for my runner

Post by flipwils11 »

I honestly tried searching, but I must not be using the right terms (lights, lighting, night??).

I'd like to play with my RC10B3 runner at night and want to hook up some sturdy lights. What do you guys recommend? I need to place them somwhere that they don't get killed from rollover crashes!

Not sure what lighting kit they used, but entertaining nonetheless... :D

It's kind of ghetto, but I've attached a small LED flashlight to the hood of my crawler with blue painter's tape for some night excursions.

You could possibly mount a flashlight on the inside of the roof so it shines through the windshield and won't get damaged.

Use these light pods or something similar. I was thinking of using a Traxxas Slash front light bar or getting a roof mounted light bar from something else. RPM has a light bar and you could just add led's to that.
