I guess this is where Tamiya got the Holiday Buggy design.
I found this on another site, thought I'd post it here. I honestly didn't know it was based on an actual car.

Wow great find on that add. While i have a holiday buggy i still think its one of tamiyas ugly ducklings.

I wonder if any are still around. It would be neat to see a full size replica like they did with the Sand Scorcher.

I guess that answers that question.
If I ever lived in a coastal town I would seriously consider getting some sort of buggy to drive around in.

Those cars are FUGLY!
I have a good friend who had one of those as a first car. He thinks they are the best thing since sliced bread.
