Re: BGRC paint shop...
HPI Blitz painted up for that same racing buddy. I tried my best to resemble the 2007 Alan Pfleuger baja trophy truck. I had to tone down the black and increase color on my scheme a little in order to make it a little easier to see on the track at night.

Nice work as always Brandon. Those SC truck shells are awesome to paint. Just a big open canvas. I love the perfect symmetry on that!

Re: BGRC paint shop...
This is my new toy... A Mugen MBX6T M-spec truggy, painted up in my favorite scheme. To anybody that may be on the fence about these trucks, don't worry, they are awesome.
My first race with this truck (and in truggy class for that matter) I had 1 lap of practice before the qualifiers. I would have gotten more, but I had just finished putting everything together at about 10 AM the day of the race. Evidently I forgot to loctite and tighten the motor mount screws. Made it around 1 lap before all but 1 screw fell out. Luckily it didn't strip any gears!
Anyway, the race was one of the TN Pro series races. Setup for qual points, best 2 out of 3. I qualified 10th overall out of about 30 truggies. So, I started 2nd position in the B main. Won that 20 min race and bumped to the 9th position in the A main. After the fifth lap I had made it all the way up to 3rd, about 15 ft behind 2nd place. Had a little bobble on a double thet shoots you out onto the straight. Landed on my lid. Got turnmarshalled and the thing never ran right for the rest of the time I was out there. It was lean bogging on the top end really bad. So much so that it wouldn't even move if pulled more than 25% throttle. I guess I have a piece of trash stuck in my top end needle. Everything else obvious looks A-OK. It is a very easy truck to drive. Love it.

Re: BGRC paint shop...
I recently got some new paint on my RC10B4 for this winter's racing season. I had an old Trinity Killer B body for the B4 set aside. I think it is one of the best looking bodies for the B4. Nothing too complicated, just highly visible.

It was a great track, but they just recently shut down. It was White House Hobbies in White House TN. I'll put it this way it had a lot of potential, but the owners didn't want the hassle of running a track anymore.

Damn shame it shut down. With the right management, it would have been one of the best.

This is an SC10 Factory Team I painted up for my nephew. He said he wanted it to be black and dark green. Lets just say it never looked the same after his first race with it.........

Great work as always Brandon.
Look on the bright side. The faster he destroys that one the sooner you get to paint another one for him.

Re: BGRC paint shop...
wow, some really lovely paintjobs. Infact they all are! I think my favourites have to be the vintage yamaha designs, my friend has an rd350 in the same livery. Also the white, green and gold design on the 09 vonats rc10 is a thing of great beauty...... All sooo classy.
