Hey my first post here :) scollins - I got to say that this is perfect, and like others on here I'm tempted to do the same.

I'm lucky that I've just been given an RC10 gold tub, it was in mess and I'm ordering a couple of spares to restore and run it - thanks so much for sharing your ideas and hope you don't mind if yet another person borrows them

I hope I'm not breaking any un-written rules by bringing this one up.

I've started on a 10t based version of my own. I bought the parma body a couple of weeks ago. there's a hotbodies, or hpi baja around too.
I started to do one a few years back when the dahms buggsy was re-issued, but I always managed to spend the time and money on my B3 racing effort. That and I remembered what sort of shape my truck was in...
I'll try to get some pix up this weekend on the fleet and the project too.

This will take you back in the same tread to my ultima/rc10T conversion which sounds much llike your plan. Have fun with it and put pics up of the build please.

Awesome project!!! I've actually been wanting to put a bug body on a B4 chassis and ProLine Dirt Hawg tires for fun and then I stumbled on this post. Has anyone tried to put an HPI bug body onto a stock RC10 or B4 frame? I was hoping with the different wheelbases it would look something like this:
