RC10CE Steering Upgrade Question
92 Stealth CE...
What options do I have (without having to drill my chassis) to upgrade my steering bellcrank? I currently have the original that came with the kit installed. I would love to upgrade to a higher level of steering, though. I'd like to get a Worlds steering with bearings if I can ever find one. There have been a few on Ebay but some dude in France keeps outbidding me on all of them.
Does anyone know of an aftermarket set or something that is a compatible upgrade? I thought I saw an aluminum bellcrank on some pics around here.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. AE told me to try a GT or B3 bellcrank and tinker with it to see if it would work. I figured you all had probably gone down that path already and I would learn from your gained wisdom.

Re: RC10CE Steering Upgrade Question
lol, that darn dude in france.
you got houge, a&l, mip, rpm, losi (aluminum)
they are all nice setups. there are probably more i'm not aware of.
stay away from the aluminum sassy chassis steering kits and the hot trick steering kits, they both suck.

Try here http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXAX30&P=7 for the MIP steering kit, it's still available new.

Re: RC10CE Steering Upgrade Question
Do you have any part numbers for those by any chance? If they're still being manufactured I'd like to get a new set.

Re: RC10CE Steering Upgrade Question
The T2/GT steering or as terry.sc said the MIP are still available and are proven upgrades.
You'll need all this to do the AE conversion:

Looks like they're about to discontinue the plastic parts...

Re: RC10CE Steering Upgrade Question
I use the MIP steering in my team car. I think it's the best option, especially since you can still get it and don't have to pay through the nose. Don't forget to use a servo saver!

No, I will not help you with your dorky short course truck…sorry, it’s against my religion. If it's not a 1/10 scale buggy...I don't care.
