MIP tranny with stock splipper ???

Post by saucisse »

Do you need a special slipper unit to fit the MIP tranny?

Was looking in the manual and it's pointing the stock slipper unit but it don't fit on the MIP shaft....the shaft diameter seems to be a bit too big....

Also any of you here upgraded with a losi hydra-drive?

Thanks !

I have not seen a standard slipper for the MIP because if you needed slip you could leave the ball diff a bit loose. MIP did however have a slipper shaft that allowed the top gear to slip on the shaft and it was adjustable.

Ok....but what do I use to fit the stock spur gear on the shaft? In the archive section, I can barely see a part # for what seems to look like some kind of adapter...looks like # sp7 or something.

Anyone got this part??
