RC10T Runner

Post by rctenracer »

Going threw boxes I forgot I even owned this one . It has got to be the fifty plus thing , memory , hearing , eye sight . It looks complete other than the servo mounts and gear cover. I have got that covered . Maybee a flysky radio and a cheap brushless combo and lipo and I can have some fun with it as is .

Going threw the stash I found some hard anodized shocks from a T2 I had. If I switch the black parts to white ( spring collars , retainers and ball ends) would they be correct for a team RC10T ? And another question did the team RC10t have solid rims on it. I have a set of ligthwieght solid rims I found too. You gotta love box diving for parts and saying " I know I have what I am looking for somwhere" .

Team Trucks came with one peice, light weight, wheels. A couple of other differences not mentioned.

- narrower body shell
- 3 degree rear arm mounts
- 0 degree rear hubs
- Thicker 2 hole front arms, and thicker rear arms
- Thicker 3 hole front shock mounts
- Thicker 4 hole rear shock mounts
- 30 degree front axle mounts with alunimum round axels
- Different rear tires, pro 90 Proline mini pins I beleive but not 100% on that

Plus what THUNDERSTRIKE1 already mentioned.

Well it is no team truck . Parts on hand I used are ( some not installed yet)

1. black battery cup
2. black antenna holder
3. light weight solid rims
4. proline tires
5. mip cvd kit
6. T3 slipper
7. black front bumper.
8. graphite trans brace
9. Gear cover from racer 8838
10. venom 19t motor
11. novak xrs esc
12. novak xxl reciever
13. And my old but works great futaba FP-T2PD radio.
14. trashed body until I find a new one from mrlexan.
15. T2 shocks with white parts form the sport.
16. Green front and silver rear springs ( not liking silver back to gold)
This is a sport so I had to order bearings.
Order number 1 for avid on bearings I have
Order number 2 has not I forgot the trans bearings.

And there was a hole drilled in the chassis for servo access that I drilled out bigger and Installed a grommet to clean it up . When I get all the bearings I will finish it up and hit Dirt Burners RC track for some laps. (practice laps that is )
