junk yard dog build
I have been picking up small parts here and there, and noticed I had a good amount of truck parts from various "parts" car purchases. I dug through my buddies vintage tub and found a chassis & nose plate he had powder coated a while back and thought, what the heck, lets build up a truck...

Re: junk yard dog build
Not sure if it will ever get electronics (but not ruled out by any means). I have my LXT staring at me every day and I am a Losi man at heart. I've had this project brewing for quite a few months.
If I had a body for it (on the back burner), I wouldnt be opposed to tossing some fresh rubber and a 17.5 in it for a few laps. Never know, I've been known to run a vintage or 2 at some bigger races

I've got the CRP collars, but no bottoms for these shocks...Charlie don't surf wrote:Looks great Joey! You need some collars and bottoms?
Been thinking, IF I do run this, I may just snag a set of T4 FT shocks and put on there. Probably "borrow" them from my son's truck, it just sits there.

I'm thinking this needs some FT turnbuckles & servo mounts
Maybe the FT thumbscrews also.

You're so lucky! I looked thru my junk and found a stripped 4-40 screw, an over-due hydro bill, an expired coupon for Mydol and my mid-life crisis.THEYTOOKMYTHUMB wrote:x2!
