I have been picking up small parts here and there, and noticed I had a good amount of truck parts from various "parts" car purchases. I dug through my buddies vintage tub and found a chassis & nose plate he had powder coated a while back and thought, what the heck, lets build up a truck...

Not sure if it will ever get electronics (but not ruled out by any means). I have my LXT staring at me every day and I am a Losi man at heart. I've had this project brewing for quite a few months.
If I had a body for it (on the back burner), I wouldnt be opposed to tossing some fresh rubber and a 17.5 in it for a few laps. Never know, I've been known to run a vintage or 2 at some bigger races

I've got the CRP collars, but no bottoms for these shocks...
Been thinking, IF I do run this, I may just snag a set of T4 FT shocks and put on there. Probably "borrow" them from my son's truck, it just sits there.

if you really want to slow the car down, look into picking up an integy lathe motor like the crawler guys use. 35, 45, 55 turns and lower. they only cost like $20 last time i bought some.
I tried a 55T and I think its too slow.A 35 or 45T with...
I started out with just a chassis. Then I bought 3 different parts lots, and took all the best parts and built an RC10 nitro car.
It's not finished yet, but here it is so far. I just need to add electrics, fuel lines, fix the brake, get rear tires,...
Going to be spending some time this winter rebuilding this car, I took it down to the chassis and got off all the old servo tape residue. Need to get a body and decide on paint.
Planning to go through the diffs and center unit this weekend. I...

The '94 YZ10 is an awesome runner. You have some really nice Suzuki bits on it, though, and it would be a shame to scratch those up if you ran the car. I'd recommend getting a second '94 and making that one a runner ;)
Hi , I am new if you didn't catch a couple of my previous posts.
Back when I was into the hobby the first time I wanted one of these RC10's . I couldn't afford it of course and ended up with my Losi Junior 2 , which I loved . ( still do )
But I...

I hereby declare this project DONE ( sorta ), everything is hooked up , Its a runner , there are a few parts I need to really make it right but its totally use-able as it sits.

As I mentioned in my other thread I got out my Yokomo collection last night and set about allocating bits to builds. Here is my 99% complete Hot Trick conversion (I just need a wing). The only thing's not new (apart from some duplicates) are the...

Here is my 1981 Scirocco S as it sat in Feb 1985
Looks lovely, you can also see from this car where the Corrado styling came from. I think VW was wrong to use the Scirocco name again with their new car - that thing is not a coupe, its a 2 door...
hooooo boy was I excited to purchase this!
Sitting in the driveway, looking ever so serene, and unfettered, sat this beautiful box, and that of a Wild Willy.
I eagerly snatched both up for $50 each, and came home to brag about my find online ...

Nice find! And it sounds like you have a similar attitude as me when it comes to the oldies: Air them out, but don't WEAR them out. It's enough fun to see a 25 year old car moving under its own power without treating it like some RTR toy.
I built this truck from mostly spare parts left over from my GT that I converted to oval and added every RPM part I could find. The noseplate and front bumper were about the only NIP parts I used. The chassis, rear bulk, and rear inner mounts were...

That's a cool truck and an even cooler story! I love these kinds of builds! :D
