Anyone ever seen this motor or ESC?

Post by cautiousone »

Ok, I have this motor that I pulled off my newly found RC10 buggy and I can't seem to find any info on it. I'm curious if anyone knows what turn it is? Also I have this ESC that has been sitting around awhile and I'm curious if they are any good or not? This one has a burnt spot on the case, not sure what caused that? The motor says Beast Peak Performance and the ESC Prodigi...

The speedo is an Mtroniks Pro-digi, the motor is a "tuner" Trinity Green Machine 2

Wow Charlie, you are a walking RC encyclopedia... So from that info you just gave me, I see that the motor is a pretty good stock motor and I'm thinking it's a good fit for my buggy? So if you had to choose between that ESC pictured or the Rooster Reversible, which way would you go?

OK, skip that last question about the ESC's, the Pro-digi is crapped out. Oh Well, I was leaning more towards the Rooster anyways. But thanks for the info Charlie...

I have the exact same motor, minus the label and all. I was wondering what it was as well.

Any idea on the specs of it?

I couldn't find much info on it myself, most everything I could find was on the Green Machine 3, but I did see that is was a popular ROAR stock motor. Mine runs awesome and I'm keeping a look out for another one. It gets great run time and it's very a very snappy little motor, I like it.

I read the same, I did find limited info on the TGM2, and that is what I have for sure.

I bet it will run great and for many many packs, Just gonna let it sit for now. No need to use it any time soon.

Esc isnt any good, all mtroniks i used melted so be warned and avoid at all costs. Get an old tekin or novak as they are the best.

That's a bit harsh... the ProDigi is an excellent ESC that can run with anything out there from bitd... I have a couple of friends who still race theirs in 2wd mod (where brushed motors are particularly appropriate) with success.

I've also had a couple of mtroniks ESC's myself and they've worked flawlessly...

I'm not defending the brand at any cost, but I think you're being a bit unfair here...
