Re: RC10 B&R Sprint Car (Project) (02/18/12)
Ok Back on subject lol
I have been playing with some wheels lately and want everyone opinion, What do you think of the wheels tire combo? Should i keep this setup or just go back to the Losi slider wheels and tires?
The rear wheels are mini mags (I think) wrapped in Duratrax High Traction Slicks and the fronts are unknown alloys wrapped in Proline Diamonds.

those alloys look great, even if they dont match...more "realistic" of what may have been on a track BITD

Re: RC10 B&R Sprint Car (Project) (05/03/12)
To rest properly on a shelf, every RC sprint car needs a set of alloy wheels....but that said, I'm not too keen on the narrow fronts. ![Confused :?](./images/smilies/icon_confused.gif)

Re: RC10 B&R Sprint Car (Project) (05/03/12)
Thanks guys,
I like the slider setup and look but i want to keep this car all vintage, I still have to change out the shocks also, I might just use the sliders till i find a set that will look right, I cant seem to find any wheels to match the rear Mini-Mags, I have another set of rear Mini-Mags that i could cut down to fit some 1.5 Proline diamonds, They look a little wider then the 1.9 diamonds. Maybe ill mock them up and see what it looks like.
Might not have to worry about it if toyranosaur makes a cool looking set![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

It would be unique among the cars in my collection, sure wish I could find a set of original headers! And the body, where did you find that? (It may be in the thread, I'm just being lazy.

Re: RC10 B&R Sprint Car (Project) (05/03/12)
the slider wheels/tires are 2.1 according to hopmeup on ebay. I think thats where I found the only info on them. All along I thought they were 2.0 but was apparently wrong...then they are the only ones to post the size so maybe they are the wrong ones...don't know for sure. Horizon or anyone trying to sell these things don't seem to think stating specs on these is importanttoyranosaur wrote: Are the Slider tyres 2.2 on both ends, or ?

Re: RC10 B&R Sprint Car (Project) (05/03/12)
I run into that all the time, trying to find sizes/threads/specs on parts & not finding dependable answers.
Of course, this hobby used to be about building & modifying so specs were a bit more common: It seems the RTR mentality has pretty much taken over. Chris REC
