Shodog's Flea market Find
My neighborhood association holds a flea market once a year in a park A couple of blocks from my house. I've always found sweet stuff at it so I got up bright and early to catch a worm. Sure enough I came across this Worlds box. I opened it up and I found a bunch of new unused parts. Some of the bags were still sealed. And the kicker was that I got it for $5.

Re: Shodog's Flea market Find
If I'd bought that same box for $5 I'd have gotten it home only to find a live rattlesnake inside.
Congratulations though, news like this keeps my hope alive. Nice score!

WOW
That is one of the best deals I have seen in a while. Makes me want to go to the flea market across the street from my house more often.

Very nice score.
You really did well on that.
Did the stealth tranny come like that as a part up grade or only in kit form??
Cheers

Re: Shodog's Flea market Find
Thanks guys, i was so happy to find such a deal I had to brag to you guys. I thought for sure the guy would ask som astronomical price but he said, how about $5. I couldn't get my wallet out fast enough.
As for missing parts, it looks like the chassis and front suspension mounts, arms and shock tower are gone. With the exception of some nuts and bolts, everything else is there. It might be too cost prohibitive to go after those parts seeing how a chassis went for $149 and a front tower went for $40

Re: Shodog's Flea market Find
so...a whole NIP worlds car for roughly 150+40+5=$195.00......c'mon man...still a bargain at those crazy ebay prices. Better yet, use an excellent condition black tub and a re-pop tower for significantly less....
best I ever see is used kids clothes, random shattered playskool outdoor toys and the weirdest lamps.
