Worlds runner almost done -
Picked this up a while ago and have been collecting pieces to get it ready for 17.5 blinky racing. I'm pretty sure if I build another, I'll just start collecting parts as there was really no reason to buy a car - almost every piece was replaced with new parts other than the chassis and trans. Just waiting on electronics (and a few minor small parts) to show up .. guess I'll have to glue on some tires too

What ball cups and turnbuckles did you use?
Have been using rpm ball cups on the front of mine and they foul the steering ball cups...

Used Tekno's battery tray -- http://www.teknorc.com/shop/tkr45006-v4-battery-tray-142x52mm/
Using beefy Jcon rod ends everywhere but the inner steering ends (they would probably clear, but I had to do more than a little work to the bellcranks) - turnbuckles are old Technacraft titaniums -
*Blinky* stock racing is a class where you can't do any programming to the ESC (timing, boost, etc) and run a 17.5 stock motor. Most ESC's will blink when unmodified - hence the name.

Trinity D3.5 17.5 and Novak GTB2X showed up. Asked around on gearing, going to start a bit conservative with a 72/33 setup. Batteries should be here tomorrow - hopefully take it for a test spin this weekend. Still working out a few small issues.. don't like the way the rear end rebounds - just from drop tests. Seem to have lost my spare FASST reciever.. hope it shows up soon!!

33/72 is pretty close, maybe over a touch, depending upon the size of your track. I ran 32/72 this past weekend, motor was coming off @ 145 after a 6 min heat. Car looks great, what you have lined up for a body?

I have a new Protech body sitting on the shelf giving me the eye - now.. if I can only figure out how I want to paint it.. ugh.
Anyone make vinyl window masks for these old bodies?

Joey, you running fans on your motor? Also outdoor SoCal gear and indoor FL gear can mean big differences, as are fans, tire diameter and esc type and even throttle settings.
