Great. Now Traxxas will think off-road touring cars will be the next big fad.

i've done that with a m03 mini. slightly lifted with some 1/18 truck tires on it. it was fun, but i used a cheap car.
infact i took the same car to motorama for the demo derby, i loaded the front end with wheel weights so it had some extra hitting power.

makes more sense than an "Off-Road" car on these rock hard, broom swept Blue Groove tracks. Also shows how much a good driver can overcome car setup.

yeah, it's almost like a 'rally' car would be best suited to the blue groove 'off-road' tracks. Hmm....may be onto something here.

Heh my first thought when I read Dave's post was also "rally car's would be cool."

Super Ten/Nitro RS4 sized bodies on a stretched B44.

Traxxas lost sight of scale on that one. The chassis may be same they used for their 1/10 SC truck but body determines scale and those are 1/8 scale bodies.

It's the same thing I wanted to do to a SC truck with a 1/8 Delta Plastik body.

This is a problem I've noticed. R/C's are getting bigger and bigger and they'll still being labeled as 1/10th scale. Whats the reasoning? For marketing or racing purposes?
