Going to cut a clear Protech and get it outside for some decent pics.
no no no.................
you will create a buck with that Protech body and then proceed to pound out a one piece all aluminum body

shock ends look like they match up pretty well.
A cage and sheetmetal body would be really cool...I gotta admit. Kinda like the Halsey ad car. Maybe just the cage though, and the small piece of the body would be clear lexan.

The wing, and the REC knock-offs really are very nice finishing touches. I really cannot believe how well this came out. Truly amazing...

I did set the car on the middle of the dining room table for a few days.
My better half just laughed! Thank goodness she puts up with my sense of humor.
The tie rod ends are from a seller on the bay. Only bad thing about them is that they are all right hand threads.
Who da seller? Can't ya just take a set of anodizd aluniumn ones and buff them? I think. Anodized are not that expensive anyway and if they are threaded the wrong way, re-tread them then cut them off. I just can't find the short a arms for my buggy ( alloy) of course.

This thread was very inspirational. I love the metal items and the track rods etc. Very well made indeed! It is perhaps a little too shiny for me personally. Really superb example!

Found a very cool servo mount awhile back. One of the coolest RC10 stickers I’ve seen as well.
