Raider/Rocky/Turbo Rocky: will it blend?

Post by GoMachV »

Of course it will! Thanks Bo for the chassis and pieces, blended with a Turbo Raider (shocks and small parts) and a dead Rocky I got at a garage sale. Not looking too bad IMO, I've always been a Rocky fan and remember all too well the unique sound they make. Can't wait to run it! Oh and a Team Bluegroove body on the way soon

Nice! I have an upcoming "Icadido-Pegastock" project in a similar style.

That is a good looking buggy. I've been trying to find rocky shock towers but they have been hard to find lately.

I have a set of green era correct wheels coming so I'm thinking an 80's fluorescent green with some white and black trim?

I would say it looks more like a racer with toes yellow wheels as it would do with green...

My most recent project has been an original Rocky and it was quite the restore. I had never really looked at these other than the famed Kyosho action shots back in the day. There's something I like about the old Rocky and yours looks ace.
I always did wonder if the Raider was a 2WD version of this car....
The Lazer rims look good with all the alloy and Option House dampers. Nice work.

Well the Paypal man will be visiting you then  cause that is how I operate! You treated me very well on the parts- the wheels and tires are worth what I already paid you by themselves. Just having fun with ya 8)

Original tires and wheels will be awesome- I love the race look of the lazer wheels but they are too new. This may change my green scheme idea.....now what!
