Re: My RC10CE runner build
I see what you mean about the chassis. Keep your eyes peeled for a nice gold C chassis, I'm sure finding one used will probably be cheaper than re-anodizing.

Yeah, I'm looking for one, the thought crossed my mind of just having it painted as well, although I think I want to keep the original gold anodized look.

The chassis is fine for a runner...It will get scratches...I wouldn't worry about that untill you make it a shelf queen...Then you can redo it or keep your eye out for a nicer one on evilbay...

Looks good man.
I think the chassis is fine for a runner. It has character.

Re: My RC10CE runner build
Finally.....an update. Got a little bit more done. Front and rear shocks rebuilt, done with most chassis work. Next step is getting electronics sorted out and installed. Hopefully I'm done with collecting most parts, my local LHS (a HobbyTown) closed up and now there is nowhere here to buy anything. Sucks I can't just run into the store and pick up shock oil, deans connecters, etc. Oh well, I'll look through my old stuff and if not make an order to Tower Hobbies.

Re: My RC10CE runner build
Looks good! My CE is in just about the same shape. Hopefully I'll finish it up this weekend. You may want to try Amain for parts like paint and deans connectors. They ship free on a $25 order! They just don't have as much stuff specific to the 10 as Tower does.
