Ok, I'm confused. CRP/Parma/Thorp relationship?

Ok, I'm confused. CRP/Parma/Thorp relationship?

So, were they somehow related? I recall thorp products for off road were labelled as dirt burners, but I have never hear of any relation besides this header card:

I have no clue on the company relationships... I just wanted to add to the confusion. :wink:

Pretty sure that's a Thorp wing.

Could be that one of the companies....or even another company entirely...was repackaging CRP, Thorp, and Parma parts for sale in Japan.

I have been told by Mike MacDowell of Parma that Dirt Burners manufactured parts mostly for Jon Thorp of Thorp Mfg. Also for Mike Tobey of CRP and Ken MacDowell of Parma (father of Mike MacDowell). It also seems that Thorp manufactured parts for Dirt Burners. Maybe some kind of joint venture for these four companies...

I always thought thorp and dirt burners were the same, that is very interesting!
