Same paint as for a Lexan body. Pactra and Tamiya make good Lexan paints from rattle-cans. If you have an airbrush, you have a lot of options: lacquer-based Pactra, water-based Parma FasKolor series & Createx, and more. You paint from the underside, so that the top, visible side is nice and glossy and protects the paint from scratches as the Lexan is on the outside. If you go to the hobby store, the correct paint will say something like "For Lexan or Polycarbonate bodies".

Yup. If you paint the top side, it'll look more flat and be prone to scuffs & scrapes.

A lot of times people leave the wings unpainted too.

I have seen that look and i like it.i also seen where they scuff them? But not sure how they go about it.i was going to try grey Scotch brite and if i dont get the look i want go to red.or should i wet sand it? If wet sanding is what i should do what grit? I really dont want a clear wing.

IIRC Pactra has window tint for RC.
After reading this thread, I thought that would make a cool wing.

I've used that stuff from a rattle-can and recommend avoiding it. Within minutes of spraying it on Lexan, you'll see it begin to stipple in little black dots all over the place. It even did this when I test-sprayed some Lexan from inside a clear garbage bag to ensure it wasn't being caused by dust, and it still happened. Maybe I just had a bad can, but I doubt it. It's a problem with the formulation, more likely. Just sharing my bad experience because I almost ruined a body because of this.
