Re: La Carrera Panamericana build
All right, since this isn't exactly the body I wanted anyway, I think I'm going to call this one "done enough for a runner."
Whipped up some decals at work ...
(before anyone asks, I had to sneak them into the queue for the printer, so no, I can't make anything else)

Window masks bled like crazy. I now have a jar of liquid mask to try on the next one.

I have no idea if there actually is a Friendly Lincoln-Mercury in Barstow or not, but it seemed like there ought to be.

I have a couple other ideas for little details, and I might try to do window trim to hide those ragged edges a bit, but otherwise, it's time to go get it dirty, I think. I'll try to get some outdoor/action shots this weekend.

Re: La Carrera Panamericana build - done-ish
OK, wow. Just took this car out for its maiden voyage, and I think it might be my new favorite thing, ever...

New narrow front end stance, courtesy of standard RC10 front arms (thanks again, Jeff)...

A little rough-roading...

I love this thing! Those of you who like nice shiny cars, look away now. This one is about to get some serious hard miles put on it.

I'll get some video when I have a helping hand. You gotta see this car lean in the turns, and oversteer on the gravel. It's too cool.
