Nice ride! Best part about Team Cobra is that most of the parts are still available! That reminds me....front inner hinge pins are probably the same as classic rc10's. If you ever get bored and would like to measure them that would be super cool since we are a few months away from associated inner hingepins.
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas Factory Works website
Thanks Guys, I measure them at 43mm or 1.69 inches. I painted them 1st with fluorescent yellow and then backed it with the metalcast blue that's why I had little left for the gear cover. The metalcast paint leave a tough smooth surface so I placed decals on both sides.
Thanks! Yeah I know I was wondering who would spot it. I was just following the instructions until I've seen pictures on the net showing it the other way, oh well.
The one my buddy got needs the diff rebuilt rebuilt and probably the shocks rebuilt, but it's missing the top wing other than that it's complete. He bought it for $70 at goodwill. That's a pretty good deal I guess. He's been thinking of selling it and I kind of want it. I might have to talk to him.
This one came up on ebay I was the only bidder I knew no one else was interested.
Only thing that was missing was the driver side panel, he never ran it either was brand new.
I think if you went brushless with Lipo this thing should fly.
They also made a stealth tranny conversion I have yet to find, but not really interested.
While shopping at a plastic model shop I inquired about the tiny rack of rc parts. Turns out they had some stuff in toolboxes and bins and they let me go thru em. Found most all the bags to a C&M Team Cobra kit. Missing chassis and upper brace,...
I was racing the Kyosho Stinger MK2 at our local track when it made it's debut. So I ordered one of the 1st models.
Only time I've seen this model on Ebay, came up when I found the Paris pipe, lasted about a day $120 less motor and pipe, must of...
And yet another Craigslist find. Its a Tamiya TL-01 Ford Mustang Cobra. It has been well used but still looks decent body wise. Chassis is in really good shape, but needs a really good cleaning. It came with an old Tekin ESC and Futaba electronics....

nice find this one is on my short list if I could ever find a good deal on one.
Well, since I didn't get a box or manual I'm building this one...blind. Not too many places things can go, and I pray nothing is missing! C&M replied to my email and said they don't keep ANY archives. Doh!
Recently acquired this in a collection I bought. I've only ever seen their com lathes and tire lathes. Never heard of one of these. Searched for a while and came up with nothing. Some kind of motor conditioner. Seems to work fine, not sure of what...

Looks like a real nice piece! Alot of dough back then for a red light.
I used to have one of these in - I want to say 1988 ? Give or take a few years, and regret selling it years later for some FG Tires to run on my Marder. Now after searching for a long time, I have all the pieces once more to build it up as I had...

They systems is awesome, I could not afford one at the time, so I settled for a Graupner Key West. The jet drive from the Graupner Jet drive was pretty neat many guys at the time retrofitted them to other Deep-Vs.
I bought this back in the early nineties when I was racing the Stinger MKII. The 1st 1/10 3 diff GP buggy, came with plastic diff gears! I upgraded to harden steel, currently rebuilding has Stingers A-arms, Lazer ZXR universal axles, and wheels. I...
