MIP Steering Bar
What is it supposed to do? What advantage is it supposed to present? I have one NIP and was thinking about installing it on my jrx2 proformance but I don't know what it's supposed to do.
I was lacking steering all together, but with new tires, moving the front camber link to the inside, and adding a little weight to the front I have on power steering now, but the car is lacking off power steering entering the corners.
Current setup
- JrxPro front tower - inside mount on the top, outside mount on the A-Arm...laid down as far as they will go
- JrxProSE rear tower - inside mount on the top, center top mount on the H-Arm
- Front tires - JConcepts Rips (ribbed/groove design)
- 1.5 or 2 degree front camber
New front tires? Of the guys with newer buggies, some run the rips, and some run JConcepts Bar Codes
More front camber?
More weight on the front?
Better servo? Running an old Futaba S3003
New servo saver? Current one is older and a little worn...has some slop in it
Not sure what to do...let me know if you need more pics...

Re: MIP Steering Bar
My Pro turned like a tractor trailer and another member pointed out that the front shocks should be outer hole on the tower and inner hole on arms.
Having the shocks more upright should transfer more weight to the front on corner entry.
Thoeretically doing the opposite on the rear "should" have the same effect.

No toe out.
You're saying I should make the shocks more upright for increased steering? I thought laying em down gave me that.
So upright up front and lay down the rear?

Re: MIP Steering Bar
Hitec digital servo, new saver and all is well...running faster laps than some of the brand new stock buggies.
So back to one of my original questions...what's the MIP steering bar supposed to give me?

Re: MIP Steering Bar
Eh maybe it's like many accessories, it gives you features you can brag about on your car?
How do the holes line up to the stock drag link?
