RC12LS Build
Well this will be my third 1/12 scale car I have owned. I keep selling them and regretting it. I have pretty much sourced everything needed to build this car, just waiting on the rest of the items to arrive. Everything is new except the pivot pockets (I wanted white ones and they are impossible to find) and the dynamic strut front end. It is pratically new though so it fits right in with the build.
Thanks to Phin, Niki and Gomachv for helping me get the parts need for this car and another one I have planned.
Hopefully I should have everything I need to finish this car in the next 1 -2 weeks. Once completed this car will remain in the collection, so hands off slotcarrod .

Very nice! Will be fun to see this car come together. I'll have to branch out to the newer 1/12 cars like this later on. After I get all of my 12E's done that is.

Re: RC12LS Build
I got some parts in but I am still waiting on the the rest of the parts so this car can be completed. I decided to go ahead and update the rear axle so this car will accept the newer 3 bolt rear wheels. I need to strip the blue anno from the parts though since it won't fit in with the build.
I wanted to build this car completely new but some of the parts I need are sowmwhat tough to come by. The car will be 90% new when done. On a side note, i wanted a white spur gear, looked on eBay and found an HPI spur that would work perfect. I bought two of them, got them here and the spur gear is nothing like what was pictured. In fact I don't think the spur gears I received will even be close to working. I will know once I get close to finishing the car.

Re: RC12LS Build
What are you looking for in a spur? Tooth count/pitch/color. I may either have something or can tell you what I have used. For a 32p in white, rj speed has one.
I just love these parts builds. I am finishing up a similar parts build 10L and it has been a lot of fun while not ruining an actual kit. Love the 3 hole conversion as well, should make tire choice a lot easier.

Re: RC12LS Build
Ok didn't have many pics during the build for this car but I was finally able to get it done. I ended up converting the car to a newer axle to run newer wheels which will also set me up for a project I have in mind when I get home. My ultimate goal is to run this car if I can find a track.
I still need to put the servo in it and give it a paint job but that will probably come later after I get home to the US. calling this one done for now. Built from 90 percent new parts and is in remarkable shape.
I have terrible lighting here so my pics are somewhat dark.
