Hopped Up Optima Mid Custom Special
Here is my latest Craigslist find. I had to search out all of the parts that were in 4 boxes of stuff. I found almost everything to put it together. It is an Optima Mid Custom Special with Andy's arms, Andy's front knuckles, Litesink motor plate, front one-way, rear ball diff, and what I believe is a Robinson Racing rear toe adjuster. Pretty cool stuff. I am still working on it, but here is where I am at right now.

Re: Hopped Up Optima Mid Custom Special
Thanks, I appreciate it. I got a stock Mid chassis, a Trinity FRP Mid chassis, a couple of arms, and a couple of stock front knuckles. That is about it for Mid stuff. I also got a Clod Buster and 4 RC10's in the mix.

Re: Hopped Up Optima Mid Custom Special
Thanks guys. I have a Robinson Racing rear toe adjuster for an RC10, but had not seen one before for the Optima. My RC10 one has "Robinson Racing" logo on it, but this one has nothing. Probably too small? Here is the one for the RC10.naushad wrote:Nice mid build! That rear toe adjuster is something I haven't seen before.

Re: Hopped Up Optima Mid Custom Special
I have one for the mid (going to another member tho) and one for an ultima. I thought they were a good idea but the rc10 requires drilling some holes...not a popular idea with classic chassis!

Here are some update photos. Got the shocks, wing mount, and wheels and tires mounted. Still need to locate some steering and transmission parts.
