Can you guys spot the mis matched item(s) in the pics? I just noticed today while trying to fit more metal bits. First correct guess receives a motor mount that is missing 1 bottom screw hole. Yup, it came from factory with only a dimple where there should be a tapped hole. So, its probably un used. Post here.

Very close to finished with first build. Needs a better top brace, and another battery strap. I couldda swore I had both straps, but only found the one.

Whats wrong with the top brace? How did u screw it on the front bulkhead cap? Really long m2's and a long plastic shim?? Can u buy these shims?

So is it still possible to get the spacers? Ta never seen the diag before..i have a couple of those top decks but none if the spacers nor the thingy to tension the belt

On my personal car I made the belt tensioner bracket- it's just a piece of angled aluminum. The spacers I made out of aluminum tubing.

HAHA! two thirds of the parts for these builds are stuck together in the form of crusty old cars, and the other third are in the build and on the table. In order to find the parts they need to be all layed out! This one was fun. I even dug into my rc10 box of parts for some hardware.

I lucked out and one donor car came with a complete stock jammin top brace with the long screws, and the white plastic spacers. the top brace does have some serious glue globs on it though. Some work with a dremmel, and a nice sticker on top will make it good enough.

Coolio! How long are those spacers, i think i found a replacement that may work, they are 9mm long?
Try goo off if u want to keep the top deck nice... Works just takes a bit.

Specifically this page...it was as i thought..6mm on the rears and 8mm on the front to deal with the offset rims on the rear and to make the track the same front and back...depends on the rims u intend to use but if they are standard then this is the info you need..
