This might be old news to most, but I found a product at Michaels that's very close to AE's battery pad kits for a fraction of the cost (9"x12" under $2 each) just cut them up and apply them how you want You can buy all sorts of colors or just plain 'ole black. You can do about 4 cars/trucks with one sheet There's a thicker version of this too if you've lost you foam battery spacers Here's the product and how I applied these to my B/t3's... http://www.michaels.com/sticky-back-foam-sheets/kd3124,default,pd.html?cgid=products-kidsteachers-foamandfeltcrafting-foam
I was looking for something like this for my Panavise car stand....cool!
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas Factory Works website
HI!... I use the felt ones on my car stands. One on the top between the car and stand so it doesn't scratch the bottom of the car. Another one between the stand and my wood shelves so I don't scratch the shelves.

I'm using the left over foam for the top of my new display stands also. Technically they're "acrylic boxes" but work good as stands Just search around the net for what size you want. Craft stores have them too but you'll pay 2X the online price.
HI!... I use black 4x4 fence post tops from Home Depot. I trim them down on my Rigid table saw. Made up a jig for them. They look good and are cheap. Like $2.
Thought I would share a quick fix that turned out better than I expected for my Boomerang. I got this car a while ago used and it has always been missing the plastic pin for the battery door. I haven't felt right paying current prices for a new E...

Hi guys. Im trying to fab up a slipper clutch for a Kyosho Lazer. I think its possible to use the B4 spur type, with the hex shaped slipper pads. I would like to find spur gears in metric size, meaning the center hole in a metric size. This way its...
Hello! First time poster here. I co own a hobby shop and we've just started selling and fixing r.c. stuff. I had a customer buy a brand new mini t brushless, and after the first run his back left tire stopped turning and the back right tire turned...

I think I've widdled down the issues to one thing: the differential inside has too much play. The gears get kinda loose making 1 tire spin at full speed and the other only partially. I've been recommended to regrease? I don't see that will help but...
