Custom Battery Pads!
This might be old news to most, but I found a product at Michaels that's very close to AE's battery pad kits for a fraction of the cost (9"x12" under $2 each) just cut them up and apply them how you want You can buy all sorts of colors or just plain 'ole black. You can do about 4 cars/trucks with one sheet There's a thicker version of this too if you've lost you foam battery spacers Here's the product and how I applied these to my B/t3's...

I was looking for something like this for my Panavise car stand....cool!
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

The sparkle sheets looks cool, but avoid those as it flakes off and gets everywhere

HI!... I use the felt ones on my car stands. One on the top between the car and stand so it doesn't scratch the bottom of the car. Another one between the stand and my wood shelves so I don't scratch the shelves.

That is definitely going in my cars, great find!
Almost all my posts will be edited because I know what I want to write, but my fingers always hit the wrong keys.

I'm using the left over foam for the top of my new display stands also. Technically they're "acrylic boxes" but work good as stands Just search around the net for what size you want. Craft stores have them too but you'll pay 2X the online price.THE H.P FREAK wrote:HI!... I use the felt ones on my car stands. HI!... I use black 4x4 fence post tops from Home Depot. I trim them down on my Rigid table saw. Made up a jig for them. They look good and are cheap. Like $2.
