I see them on ebay every now and then, not too often, Its those hub adapters that never come up. Very nice complete set.

Re: Optima with Bru-Lines
Great looking wheels, and the adjustable widths are cool, but the plastic feels so cheap. It's a shame Bru-Line wasn't in the aluminum business.

Re: Optima with Bru-Lines
Yes I was really lucky to find the hubs. Never on eBay. Although once I saw a Optima Mid with BruLine front wheels but lost the auction. I have a few sets of wheels and there seems to be 2 kinds of plastic used. One type is dull, brittle and has yellowed. Then there is an almost shiny white that resembles Tamiya plastic.

Back in the day, it seems alot of smaller companies used the common water pipe pvc type plastic for their products.

Those look pretty cool, I like the realistic look you get with the 5 mounting bolts on each wheel.

Re: Optima with Bru-Lines
After I read this post, I went and checked feebay. Found a new set with rc10 hubs for a pretty decent BIN. Well, yeah, I bought 'em! Should have them today or tomorrow.

Re: Optima with Bru-Lines
Great to finally see a set of these wheels mounted on a car. I have a box full of rims and hubs and never was able to mount a full set and install them on a car. They look great on that Optima, but isn't there too much offset especially on the rear?

Re: Optima with Bru-Lines
Got them yesterday. Was disappionted to see that they are truck rims. I guess I got a little trigger happy on the auction which stated they are for rc10, but failed to mention their width. But, I have an idea to make them work. Hope no-one here will be offended at a little vintage butchery!Doomed wrote:That's the hard part, do you have the wheels yet?
