rc10 auction buy help
rc10 auction buy help
I bought this rc10 at an auction and think its a pretty good buy. I'm really curious as to whether I should sell it or have a fun time building a classic. Figure I would get some input from you guys. Any help or input is greatly appreciated! Thanks

Re: rc10 auction buy help
My apologies. I'm still new here. But thanks for the heads up. I am thinking of building it but a better question should be can I still use all the original parts or would I be better off trying to upgrade it with newer parts if plan to run it? Just not sure with the age that it is of what to do.

Re: rc10 auction buy help
Personally, I wouldn't even consider running it. I'd buy a slightly used "new" classic and run it. They are improved in a few areas but also are not so valuable. That one deserves to be left bagged, or built and admired IMO.

Re: rc10 auction buy help
Thanks for the info grailen, and welcome. For me, I wouldn't build it, but that's just the "stage" I'm in now, but for sure a great flash back build. If you have zero plans on selling it, build it, and share the stages with us
.... BTW, did you get a body/wing with that, and what address is on the box?

Re: rc10 auction buy help
Unfortunately the box didn't have the body or wing. I looked at the address and it is the one on Erdinger in California.

Leave it as is. Buy a re-re and mess with it.

Re: rc10 auction buy help
Thanks for all the info guys. I'm also to the point I'm afraid to touch the bags and pan hehe. I have started to look around to see if I can find a kit to build so I can get that experience which I really want to do. I want to stay with the rc10 series though. I have looked at the rc10B5 and it seems that would be a fun one to build as well.
