Great suspension! I was digging that red one going down the bumpy hill...I think Tamiya edited out the part where it looks to have bounced and flipped over.

What? You don't have one of these? I thought everyone had a few.

I have three, two of them are for parts and driving them into the ground. The good one sits on the shelf. (Borat voice).... Not!

You have to love the bouncy suspension on those rigs. They sure do look cool though, but were pricey. :(

Me too, but when I go fishing for trouser eels I always run out of line...

I love bouncy suspension Tamiyas though. They always bring a smile to my face. :D

I have never had that issue Ken, I always have the ladies do the fishing for me and they never get to the end of the line. OHH!!

You might want to get some arm extensions, again.. If you guys find some let me know. Hilux first, arm extensions second. :P

Back in the day Tamiya made many several videos for their cars. Hobby stores would play these on a continuous loop. after just a few minutes of watching, you'd be hooked

I've seen this video many times and it makes me want to go run mine. What ever you do, don't search YouTube for the sand scorcher promo video.

I was about 19 or 20 when I worked in a hobby store back then (I'm 46 now) and we always had those Tamiya vids looping. The frequent slo-mo sections for The Frog and The Hotshot really made it look like the suspension was incredible! I was hooked enough to want a Frog...needless to say, the real-life suspension was a far cry from what I saw in the slo-mo Frog videos.
