Thanks Dave! Hopefully I'll get my chassis back soon so I can start mocking up the body mounts. Probably need to do something special for the front mount. We shall see.

I hate cutting out bodies so I don't blame you for not removing the rear panel lol. I found that body at R/C Car Kings, looks like RJ Speed has re-released it. http://www.rccarkings.net/bodies.htm I've already got a B stamp chassis for it. The RC10 bug has bitten.
Called the powder coaters again and they say I'll have it Monday. The weather man is now predicting ice and snow on Monday so I guess we'll see how that works out. Should have some progress shots of the wheel resto up soon.
No parts today I guess. Laughable ice to me after living on the east coast for quite a few years. In Texas this dusting is like the apocalypse. Oh well, I'll sit around and watch some movies instead. Too darn cold in the garage even with the heater on so I'll save the update for next week.
I found the same thing with my powder coated chassis,
the small to medium scratches were completely filled in.

Thanks Dave, I should have a nice update this coming weekend. I suspect it will be running by then. I'll just be left with the body and building up a battery pack and a few mounts.
Way behind schedule on this build. I've been set back by all the crazy weather we've had here lately. My company put me up in a hotel room the last few days due to all the ice we've been having. It's finally stopped sleeting and snowing for the moment and temps are now above freezing. Hoping I can burn the midnight oil and catch up on this build.
I'm working on it! I wet sanded the powder coat with 2000 and buffed it out even shinier than it was. It's slowly coming together now. I'll have a lot more updates soon as I finally get things done on it.
I've taken a little break for the moment to let my feet unfreeze. My work car is currently melting off blocks of ice in garage and turning it into a muddy swimming pool. Going to be fun cleaning all this up after it dries.
