I really like how this is coming together. The belt guide incorporated into the rear bulk head looks very nice!

Agreed! The built in belt guide is a great idea! Very cool to see this coming together, and like you said, it's nice not having to wait weeks for parts to be printed.

Yeah, i figure it provides more frequent entertainment for you guys that way too. You get several updates a week this way, much better than one or two a month

New transmission case with the area between the arm mounts filled in:

Gives it a much cleaner look for sure. I also changed the shape a little of the front tensioner and printed one of those, but the battery on my phone died before i got a picture of it

I think moving the belt guide mounts on the rear bulkhead is the last major thing i have left to do. We're getting there!

I really like that you are also making a stealth rear tranny case that have the old 6-gear tranny mounting screw pattern, and are bolt-on to older pre-stealth chassies. For us without stealth RC10's that is a real gem.

As I'm a RC10 newbie, and both my RC10CE's have the old 6-gear trannys, would a kind soul help me making a list of what parts (gears, shafts, outdrives, ball bearings, spacers etc) I will need to complete the stealth tranny for this project. Preferably with part numbers. I just know that if I should do this myself, I would end up with tons of wrong and expensive parts

I just want to be prepared when these 4wd parts "hit the streets".

Tom, the easiest and most economical thing to do it by a good used Stealth transmission from ebay. Other than that you can look up the parts on AE's website, and they do sell a complete Stealth transmission kit, but its over $100 USD

Me too! Oh, wait.... Lol

Still waiting on my end for word on idlers/pulleys and probably some other stuff I'm forgetting. There's always back up plans but if the supplier I'm working with comes thru it will be sweet!

I printed version 2 of the rear bulkhead last night. I moved the belt guide down a bit
Image

Much better on the belt clearance with itself

Getting *really* close! I think I am going to move the rear belt guide down a little further, then I need to finalize the belt length to have proper tension.

Now if we could just get our vendor to follow through with the custom input/output shafts...

I've been away from the forum for a bit but damn. This is looking pretty sweet. I shouldnt be but some how I'm getting blown away by the ingenuity and skill of the people on this site/forum. This looks killer.

I'm going to be on the list when you guys get it ready. This is way too cool to pass up! I'll have to turn it into a dirt oval car though.
