This is actually good for me. I have noticed that ebay has a lack of used full nose pieces and decent chassis

As the saying goes...
Where there's a will and a 3D printer, there's a way.
Actually, i just made that up, lol

I printed the updated steering and caster blocks and got the car back together. I may try to get it back on the track in the next few days, we'll see

For comparison with the old version.

Hi Brian,

What is the height of the new steering block?

Cheers, Dave. :)

I'm not sure, i can measure it for you later if you really want to know. It easily fits inside a 2.2" wheel though, if that's why you're asking.

BTW, I took it on a couple quick blasts us and down the street. Man, what a rocket it is! It still wheelies, but not too bad.

I'm posting this question in this thread, as it might concern other people as well.

I finally got hold of a black nose plate that was not cut, so that it could be used in the long configuration required by the Ten4. To my surprise the holes for the long position (marked with red) were not threaded. And as I'm totally lost with the imperial screw size system, could someone please tell me what size of tap I need to thread the holes? A direct ebay link would be nice

Thanks
Tom

On my gold pan prototype car I had to tap them... I had never really looked to see if they were tapped before I went to put it together.

Good news from shapeways, they have shipped my parts, I'm supposed to have them Monday. So Thursday i'll give the Ten4 another go on the track.
