Forgetting the tension spring will do that, but the fully threaded screw had a tendency to do that too. 2.25 diff only, the top shaft, and bearings are the only interchangeable parts between those two stealth trans

The diff spring was in, I just tightened it too much, as I'm not very familiar with these transmissions.

I went ahead and put that whole stealth trans in my T4.

Okay, so I installed the SC10 trans in my T4 with the vtr slipper and steel spur. Then I used the T4 trans to build up my B3 with bearings and other needed parts throughout. What parts were left over I used to fix up the10T white stealth diff and put the B3 slipper and spur on it.

And the truck is doing great. It is remarkably stable and well composed. With the B3 (81) spur and a 24 pinion that slower 550 motor gets some speed.

A quickie paint and sticker job. I should get around to cleaning it I've been toying with it more than cleaning.

I hurt the steering servo. I had an old futaba FP s14b "indirect drive" servo from my gold pan's mechanical speed control. I installed it with a servo saver.

One of the front axles has some wear and the bushings are a bit loose. I'm going to look up the part number for replacements.

Would it be better to install an upgraded axle/bearing combo or one from another model?

The 6218 front axles were pricey, so I bought a set of worlds car axles and bearings to try out.

Looks like the original are a hex pattern. So that's not gonna work.

Hi,

RC10T manuals,

https://www.teamassociated.com/cars_and_trucks/RC10T/Team/manuals_setups/

Sorry you need to use the worlds manual,

https://www.teamassociated.com/pdf/cars_and_trucks/RC10WC/Worlds_Car/RC10WC-Manual-updated.pdf

or 7200 front suspension update,

https://www.teamassociated.com/pdf/cars_and_trucks/shared/7200.PDF

You will need the steering blocks from the RC10 Worlds, ASC6225 in white or ASC6221 in black.

Hey thanks. Those steering blocks and the world's axles/bearings I bought should fit, and be all I need for new axles and bearings?

Hi,

If you have bushings it would be best to replace them for bearings.

3/16 x 3/8 x 1/8.

These are the bearings that I have been using,

Cheers, Dave. :)
