Those decals probably came off a 1/12 Associated decal sheet #3820 which has the Porsche and Ferrari crests and the Ferrari name which is under the 2 Shell names but is white so doesn't show up in the scan.Asso_man! wrote: I would also obviously love to source the special decals but I have no clue where to find these? It's possible those decals came from the 1/8 scale decal SP20 which is the same as the 1/12th and the Ferrari name is about 62 mm long as opposed to the 45 mm on the 1/12 scale sheet. This was pointed out to me in a pm by RC10resto, thanks Brian.

Thanks for the hint! Anyone in the US/California willing to buy it for me? Seller asks for crazy shipping cost and import charges (I live in Europe).

It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

Slowly progressing on this one. Still a mockup right now with plenty of details to work on. I added the shock towers today and assembled the steering linkages and camber links.

Re: - Gene Husting replica, in memory of Brussels 22-03-2016
Thanks to Joe aka jwscab I received today the correct early 1/8 decal sheet together with the two beautiful alloy front shock cups he kindly machined for this replica. I really love building cars that couldn't come to life without worldwide partnerships. You rock, Joe!

Re: - Gene Husting replica, in memory of Brussels 22-03-2016
glad they arrived safe. That's a heck of a camera there, picks up all the dirt and machine marks. Of course they are mostly raw off the machine(s) so some light polishing will improve the finish.
