You guys are funny! I drove it the day I picked it up and for an old 6 cell battery and old electronics, it goes pretty good, provided you have traction.

No,
mild restoration,
keep that body shell, just as it is.
keep the vintage electronics, if they are o.k

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
While I was interstate for work ('for work' sounds so much better than 'on business' ), these popped up on eBay and were picked up.
Firstly, a nice haul of Associated B2/B3 parts:
- #9125 Front Bulkhead
- #9130 B2/B3 Front Top Plate, Composite
- #9210 B2/B3 Front Kickup
- #9241 B2/B3/T3 Rear Chassis Plate
- #9351 B3/T3 Trans Rebuild Kit
This is interesting, as I just sold my unused B3 Rear Chassis Plate last week (sorry Bully, you will get it soon, I promise!).
Then, the Tamiya stuff:
- Unpainted 58476 Honda Civic R3 body
- 2 x TA05 turnbuckle packs
- TA05 lower arm pivot pins
- #53847 TA05 46mm Assembly Universals (x2)
- M03 Metal Parts Bag C (needed for the rear axles!)
- 2 x TA05 long screw packs
- #53842 TA05 Stabilizer Set
- #53836 48mm Swing Shafts (for TA05 with reversible lightweight suspension set)
- #53970 Diff Dust Seals
- Bag of TA05 small spacers (just because)
Fair to say, I did VERY well on the prices.... the Tamiya stuff alone was probably about 60% - 70% off retail, and the B2/B3 stuff probably the same too!
Happy days for a few of my projects.... and some more stuff to add to my "For Sale" thread
Alex

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
This lot arrived yesterday..... fair to say I'm pleased!!!!
Lot consists of two HPI Firestorm trucks, both with Hobbywing brushless speedies and HPI motors. Radio gear is basic but there, two different crystals too . Also came with a LiPo battery and charger, box and instructions.
One truck is pretty close to ready to go, and the other was disassembled for cheaper postage, and needs a few replacement parts (that I already have in my spares!).
Both will get rebuilt and tested, and then most likely taken to the local offroad track or skate park for some air time!!!
Also got in a lot of bearings from my good mate Rob / Bullfrog, and a lot of unpainted bodies (3 x 190mm touring and 1 x Protoform P905B 235mm pan body).
Christmas came early!!!! Now to put in some work to pay for it all!!!!!

I use it to hold material down when I cut it on the cnc
Previously I had to lay down 12 individual strips for each sheet, probably doesn't seem like a huge deal but it's the suckiest part of the entire job. This tape will save a lot of time
