Where does the poor driver put his legs ? With a cab forward body the driver must be lying on his stomach to drive . Part of me says they are cool but the other part says it's wrong !
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

You can make the driver the size of a Lego Minifigure and the problem is solved!

Another alternative for the 22 body was the Vega elite body. I have a vega elite which i rebuilt because i saw it as a 'future vintage' if you like. Its a beautiful piece of design with full alloy chassis, gearbox casing and various bits of carbon fibre, let down by a cab forward body which im not a fan of, so instead i tried fitting a J Concepts Losi xxx illusion body, and it fits really well. Its sat unpainted for a while but as its nice and sunny i figured id give it a go today.

Re: This ain't vintage but....
Well now its at least partly painted, got the spoiler masked but ran out of paint. Authough the XXX body fits the Vega elite 22 chassis, the XXX body wont fit a standard 22 chassis as its a different shape altogether. It may not be considered vintage but its in the same collection as my other, more vintage Losi buggies, and id recon its one worth collecting for the same reasons. Having said that, i wouldnt enter it in the monthly competition on this site as its simply not old enough imo, so not vintage, more retro, possibly classic?
Nice either way.

To me, the cab forward bodies make all modern buggy's look like those cheap RC toys that come ready assembled in a box with a clear plastic front. I don't mind low and sleek but cab forward.......pfffft......NO THANKS.

Again, as long as you don't want to be competitive if you're racing, or let alone you don't race at all, you can run old-school bodies as much as you like
(I agree they look better to they eye, but not to the timing system!)
