Hi guys, I have an old RC-10 Team car from a long time ago. I have a Novak T4 and Reedy Radon brushed motor. Can I use the new lithium batteries? I’d probably get the ones that were the same size as the Nickel old school 6C packs...
I will eventually upgrade to brushless motor and speed control at a later date.

Re: New battery old electronics?
Yes you can, but with lipo batteries you're not supposed to let the voltage get below a certain level, it can damage the cells. Morden esc's have a voltage cutoff in them for that reason. Your two options are to upgrade to a modern brushed esc that has a cutoff, or try to find a low voltage alarm to use with your existing esc.

Thanks for the advice. One more question, I’m planning on getting the new B-6 club car, any advice on a battery? I’m liking the Reedy batteries but they make a lot of them as well!
