Re: Scr8p's shop
Thought so
Very cool car! Why did the owner want a duce frame for their A?
Maybe someday I'll do something with my A pickup hot rod. It was my dad's project. RIP

Re: Scr8p's shop
Putting a V8 in an A frame it's hard as far as I know. Our's has a TCI frame under it that the SB 350 and Turbo 400 fit in easily, all kinds of space. To me the lines of the A body go better with the straight frame rails of the A frame, but that's probably just me
Anyway, that's gonna be a beautiful car Jason

Re: Scr8p's shop
Been awhile since I've done any updates in here. So, here is where the 31 Model A is at. Right now it's out getting the upholstery done. Should be back after Christmas.

Did you purposely leave the Mustang out of the update?

Re: Scr8p's shop
I haven't been taking many pics of it for whatever reason. It's also in that stage right now where you're doing a lot of stuff to it, but it doesn't look like your doing anything to it. Fixing lots of rust, and trying to make horrible reproduction panels fit..... stuff like that. The car is sort of assembled right now, but it's all just screwed or pop riveted together until we get everything fit nicely. once that happens, we can blow it back apart and start welding.

Re: Scr8p's shop
Been a long time since I've posted in here. So... a little update.
The 31 Model A is pretty close to being done. We got it running, but something is not quite right with the fuel injection. So the guy took it home for now and he and his brother are going to mess around with it. Still needs to get an alignment, inspected, etc etc. once that's all done it's come back for us to finish it up. We also have to change the shifter. His wife doesn't like it.....
After that left, and with the weather warming up, it was time to get painting on the 70 Chevelle. I got the body shell finished up yesterday.

Re: Scr8p's shop
The 31 Model A is looking real nice but a few things immediately caught my eye. The yellow behind the grill, and that alternator hanging waaaay out there. Also the rear wheels are a little too small. Just nit-pickin'
I might be selling my yellow 68 Camaro show car this year. God I hate that color.
