Which body do I have?

Trying to determine which body I actually have so I can look for a new one. Could someone help identify it?

Looks like Protech II

I’m calling it a Protech II. It’s similar to the protech but I don’t see the indents for the front tower on yours, but I do see the teardrops where the nose tube screws are.

If you've been browsing this forum or ebay, you probably already know that Penguin on ebay makes Protech II bodies.

I recently bought a couple of them and although quality isn't as good as genuine AE (they're certainly not perfect), they're not too bad.

I guess that depends. Of the two bodies I'm familiar with, Penguin's are dimpled and TBG's are short.

This is a Penguin shell...



The dimples aren't really noticeable once painted although you can see them if you look closely. I think they are pretty ok.
