You need a red trans case now with that Kinwald body on it.
Is that Jake's original Masami?

I might dye the trans case someday.
It is Jakes build. It came up for sale recently so I picked it up. It came with an extra chassis kit. That’s how the Kinwald car started.

Ah, I thought that might be his old car.
That car is becoming a legend in its own right.
You are very lucky to have it.

Yeah, I got a message about it before it went up for sale. Glad it was able to stay in the 10talk family.

I may not be super active. And I lose my way from here from time to time. But I always gravitate back. Hard to believe I joined this forum nearly 10 yrs ago now. Lucky to have owned the cars I have over the years.

Can you elaborate on the color blue you used?

Well I had the paint already so I figured why not another Kinwald style paint job. The goal is not for a replica, just something I think looks cool to have on the shelf with my other cars. I’m getting tired I’ll do the wing tomorrow.

Thank you lobonyc and romulus22!
I am in the process of restoring an older Kyosho Inferno 10 I had as a kit. I have been having a real hard time obtaining some of the parts I needed and these 2 gentlemen hooked me up with a rolling chassis that pretty much has everything I need and...

Picked this up recently. I love these early 70's cars.
Took a before picture for my archive thread.
Then took this right after I started cleaning. Tires are drying, and you can see the difference in the motor mounts.
And more cleaning to...

Good call on leaving that car as is. It truly is a thing of beauty! 8) Would love to have one of these in my collection one day.
