Building this car up for the V-Nats!
RPM 91 worlds suspension will be going on this car. Made the braces today, plan on chopping the sides Siebenelch style. Figured it would add some strength.
More pics to follow as I get progress made...

Yeah, the 91 rear end will be going on too, I just haven't cut the chassis for it yet.
I cut the braces out of a Triumph chassis I got off ebay for $2.
I plan on incorporating a velcro strap with the braces for the battery holddown.

The only other I have resides inside an unbuilt kit box.
I figured I'd get a response like that, but hey, the price was right..... Besides, I have enough left over to make the tranny brace, steering sector arm, and battery holder....

Yeah, for $2 you can't really go wrong considering the price of a sheet of CF compared to that. Still made me wince in pain though....

Guess they won't be 2$ though
Cool mod these braces: should be recommended for the guys cutting their sidewalls down like siebenelch's buggy.

Build update.
Well, I am finally finished. All I need to do now is swipe a receiver out of my 1/8th scale and I will be down at Thunder Raceway tuning!

very nice Brandon, excellent craft skills! I was just wondering if you cut the rear end of the chassis or just left it untouched to use modern B4 wheels?
